Town of Wheatland Spring & Fall Clean-Up Events

The Town of Wheatland offers two Clean-Up events each year in spring and fall and are posted on the Town Calendar and Public Notices web pages.

This is your opportunity to bring in all sorts of odd stuff that doesn’t fit properly into the Wheatland solid waste dumpsters located at the Town of Wheatland Recycling Center in Red Mound, WI..

We have five sorted categories, other than the normal recycle items:

Typical large landfill acceptable garbage like mattresses, sofas, furniture, etc.

Metal items of all sorts, not vehicles

Appliances all sorts of appliances including

TV, microwave, computers and other electronic

devices.

Refrigeration units do not need to have the coolant

evacuated but doors need to be removed

Tires are fee but must be dismounted from rims

Agricultural plastic like tarps and silo bags

* We only accept typical household refuse.

* We don’t accept large quantities of construction materials or commercially generated materials.

* Dumpsters are available for on-site collection at your construction, demolition or commercial sites for a fee.
